So it's hitting me that in just a few short months my BABIES will be 3. What the heck?!
Our plans are to have their party at Jump N' Land in McKinney, if you haven't been there, you're missing it. We always have such a good time. BUT we also might just have something at the house and rent a big jumpy thingy from them. I just don't know yet. I know I do have some time but I'm such a planner...ha ha.
They're already changing SO much. It feels like overnight we've developed full vocabulary. They'll say something and you almost go - where did you pick that up? HA HA. I called to Raina the other day and heard her say, "Ok Momma, I'm on my way". TOO CUTE! During the holidays when we'd be driving at night, Brody would see Christmas lights and point them out to all of us, "There they are....over there". I also here, "C'mon Naina....mon!" Ha ha. AND...everything is just VERY funny now. They are constantly cracking each other up which in returns makes me laugh.
We're still saying "Naina" and "Bubby". I'll sit with Raina and go through all the family members. "Momma, Daddy, Mimi, Nana"....she repeats me perfectly. I'll get to Brody and EVERYTIME she says "BUBBA!". Brody is working on his R's and I have gotten him to say Raina...but Naina is easier and a little part of me loves it. It's awful cute.
I know babies are such little sponges and that shows more and more everyday. We're singing along to songs, saying lines with their favorite movies (Cars, Mermaid), their conversations with each other CRACK me up. We got them their trikes for Christmas and they refused to try to push the pedals. About a days worth of work and we are pedaling fools!
Brody's actually eating WAY better now. Granted it's not a huge selection but at least he eats what I give him. He is trying a few new things, bread being one of them. He asked for a banana yesterday and took a few big bites off of it and was done. He's also totally digging on apples here lately. Wants it whole, wants to sit in Daddy's chair and eat it. Hey whatever floats your boat son :)
If you don't have a baby that is a finicky eater - you just have no idea what it's like. It makes you worry and it aggravates you. There's days I just don't fight it - there's days I fight it big time. "just 1 bite"....ugh!
Raina of course....eats everything..... :) I've yet to find anything she won't. Seriously. she'll eat onion rings ( I HATE onions ), she LOVES chips and salsa - well anything spicy, any veggie, any fruit...meat of all kinds. She has not EVER turned her nose up on anything.
I love them so much....and they're almost 3. I still can't believe that!!
