She is again giving me funny things to write.... :)
Today I told her, "Raina bug, you are a mess magnet" because it seems everywhere she goes, it's a mess of clutter, glitter and princess stuff in 5 seconds flat! :)
She very proudly looked at me and said, "I not a mess magnet - I BOOOOOTIFUL!"
Do you think I tell her she's beautiful too much?!
She also did something yesterday...I've been toiling with writing it. First you have to understand I have always been "intuitive" on things and often "see or hear" things. This is nothing new - it's always been this way since I was a little girl. My cousin Chesney who shares my birthday is the very same. We're just more sensitive than the majority of people.
Well I was painting Raina's toes and fingers yesterday. I had her sitting up on my vanity and was using the blow dryer to help speed up the drying process. I noticed her looking behind me, making her silly shy Raina face. I told her she was being silly but then said, "Momma - who's that?". I turn around and asked her, who's what honey? She pointed behind me, about at my bed, "Momma - who is that?". I asked if she saw someone and she shook her head yes, so I said, I don't know but say bye bye because we're going in the other room :) And she did, and waved.
So now you're probably saying, why couldn't you see it if you can see other stuff. I guess I don't think it works that way. She never seems to notice the ones I do. But it appears.....my sensitive sweet little Raina who is SO much like me and Chesney appears to be even more like us than we thought.
Saturday is Mom's birthday so tomorrow she and I are taking a road trip with the kids down south. We are going to go down and check the graves of all the grandparents and update flowers....just make sure everything's ok. Just a nice little drive through hill country :) We're gonna stop in at Lonestar to see my cousin Kari and get some fried pickles and corn fritters :) If you haven't been to the Lonestar Cafe in Hillsboro, TX for corn fritters and fried pickles - you're missing it!
Sunday after church we'll have lunch with Mom and Dad and probably spend the day up in McKinney. I should have pictures to share :)
